Sipnot, Stonier International Pinot Noir Tasting, gives Pinot Noir lovers a remarkable opportunity to taste some of the best Burgundy (Pinot Noir) from France lined up against Pinots from the rest of the world.
This will be the 11th SIPNOT to be held on September 6th 2010 at the National Gallery of Victoria.
As one of the best forums on Pinot Noir in Australia it gathers leading wine communicators and pinot noir lovers from around the country in one room to taste and talk about some of the world's great examples of the enigmatic Pinot Noir varietal.
This year's panel will be emceed by AWBC's Paul Henry and will include leading UK wine writer, Matthew Jukes, Australia's Huon Hooke and Nick Bulleid MW and Stonier Winemaker Michael Symons. Guests will be welcomed to the tasting by Stonier founder, Brian Stonier AO.
