Review:

Superb service is the icing on the cake for this fantastic butcher. The walls of Hudson Meats are lined with imported pastas, olive oils, preserves and sweet treats, while the large wooden island in the middle of the store is laden with cookbooks, handmade wooden chopping boards and foodie specials. Once you negotiate the temptations of the entrance you're met by a large glass counter full of specialty meat cuts, great legs of ham waiting to be carved and delicious-looking prepared meat meals. There is also a large wall fridge full of fresh local and imported cheese, homemade dips and fresh pasta. It's the sort of place you'll make excuses to visit.

Another Hudson's convert

I'm also a big Hudson's fan. I'm was a vegetarian but have just started eating chicken again. I went in to Hudsons for my first chicken purchase in 8 years and they were great help in choosing the perfect piece of bird. They even said they'd give me my first steak free when I decide to start eating red meat again!
