Review:
My partner and I just spent an amazing 5 days at Tavanipupu Resort in the Solomon Islands. The resort is the only thing on Tavanipupu Island and it was absolute bliss! We were greeted with fresh young coconuts and flower lei's as soon as we arrived at the island, then taken to our own huge bungalow. The beds are amazing. They have mosquito nets which look like princess beds and the rooms are decorated in wood carvings and locally hand printed fabrics. We went snorkelling off the newly completed dock and saw an amazing mimic octopus and a huge turtle! We had a candle lit dinner out on the dock too, it was a full moon which lit up the night just enough for us to watch our very own customary dancers! The staff were so helpful and so funny too! It was truly the best resort that I have ever stayed in. It wan't pretentious like the resorts I have been to in Fiji, just a true hidden gem. We will be back for sure!
