Review:

The best Singapore noodles in the world. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and I still can not compare anything to these. The freshness and taste are worth the trip to Cairns alone. There are not many cheap eats that I would recommend, but I would be doing foodies an injustice if I did not share this gem.

Singapore noodle hut

The Singapore noodle hut is a very nice place to eat freshly made noodles to order and yes it is amongst the best noodles as for in Cairns. But if you have visited the hawkers market in Darwin on a friday and saturday you will be amazed about the variety of Asian hawker stands that delivers the same if not better when it comes to fresh and tantalizing noodles along with many other asian regional dishes cooked right in front of your eyes. Darwin is now known for the night dinners that seldom gather being family or just locals and tourists that feast amongst so many different stalls. If you have ever been to Singapore and visited newton circuit you will be amazed by the influence that the darwin night hawkers stands has followered with the same concept of delivering a very high standard and variety of different cultural dishes that have now made Darwin a tourist attraction. Being a chef for more than 22 years and have travelled for work for pleasure/business,Darwin will one day be recognized for this now famous Hawkers food stands. So when in Darwin do visit the night hawkers stands on a almost perfect out door setting and enjoy the wonderful food from all over asia without spending a fortune.
