Review:

My husband and I were both very pleasantly surprised to find such a superior quality restaurant in a hotel. From cocktails by the fire in the cozy lounge (dream martini) to nightcap on the wisteria covered terrace, everything was divine. The menu is varied and interesting, the service friendly, professional and very helpful and the food just superb. It has been quite some time since we've had such a fantastic dining experience where all of the elements come together. Recommend for entree; pigs tail croquette, oxtail and cavolo Nero, pear and Persian fig or duck breast, broccoli and Brussels, truffle cream and muscatels. Mains: sticky beef cheek, celeriac purée, broadbeans, speck and bone marrow or charred lamb loin roast cutlet, smoked potato purée, minted peas and baby carrots. Absolutely delicious!
