I'm really keen to try the red mullet recipe (two fillets sandwiched together with breadcrumb mixture in the middle) in the most recent magazine but can't find it anywhere. Is there an alternative to red mullet fillets I could use?

The best Aussie alternative to red mullet is Coorong Mulley also known as Yellow eye mullet. Taken from a sustainable fishery too.
