Help please.
In the June edition of GT there is a recipe for baked ricotta doughnuts which look and sound fantastic! One of the ingredients is cedro. Can anybody tell me what it is and where do I get it? Searched and can find no mention of it anywhere except GT with no note to explain either what it is or where to get it.

Cedro is the glacéd (candied) fruit of the citron tree, available from Simon Johnson, David Jones, and good delicatessens. If unavailable, you can substitute candied orange peel or candied lemon peel.

Not sure where you live but DJ's in the city stocks it and so does IGA at Haberfield. It's a pale green colour.
