Most popular recipes summer 2017

Counting down from 20, here are this summer's most-loved recipes.

Curtis Stone's strawberry, elderflower and brioche summer puddings

"Think of this dessert as a deconstructed version of a summer pudding, with thinly sliced strawberries macerated in elderflower liqueur and layered between slices of brioche," says Stone. "A dollop of whipped cream on top is a cooling counterpoint to the floral flavours."

Bali's new wave of restaurants, hotels and bars

The restaurant and hotel scene on Australia's favourite holiday island has never been more exciting and Australian chefs, owners and restaurateurs are leading the charge, writes Samantha Coomber.

Chorizo hotdogs with chimichurri and smoky red relish

A hotdog is all about the condiments. Here, choose between a smoky red capsicum relish or the bright flavours of chimichurri, or go for a bit of both.

Baguette recipes

These baguette recipes are picture-perfect and picnic ready, bursting with fillings like slow-cooked beef tongue, poached egg and grilled asparagus and classic leg ham and cheese.

Curtis Stone's strawberry and almond cheesecake

"I've made all kinds of fancy cheesecakes in my time, but nothing really beats the classic combination of strawberries and almonds with a boost from vanilla bean," says Stone. "I could just pile macerated strawberries on top, but why not give your tastebuds a proper party by folding grilled strawberries into the cheesecake batter too? Cheesecakes are elegant and my go-to for celebrations because they taste best when whipped up a day in advance."

Style statement: Paloma Picasso Olive Leaf

Paloma Picasso

Paloma Picasso

Inspired design and a legendary legacy are hallmarks of Paloma Picasso’s exclusive Tiffany & Co. creations.

As the youngest child of renowned artists Pablo Picasso and Françoise Gilot, Paloma Picasso had creativity juices flowing through her veins before she even took her first steps.

A childhood spent surrounded by bohemian artists embodying joie de vivre and the vibrant, intellectual world of '60s France fostered her ingenuity.

A moment of inspired improvisation at the Folies Bergère - fashioning rhinestone necklaces from a gem-set bikini - garnered attention and a year later, Picasso was commissioned by Yves Saint Laurent to design jewellery for his collections.

In 1980, Picasso introduced her exclusive debut collection for Tiffany & Co. to high praise. Three decades later, her name is still synonymous with innovation and statement style.

Her inspired Olive Leaf collection features 18-karat gold, brilliant green tsavorites, one-of-a-kind rings, bib necklaces and pear-shaped rubellites accents.

Capturing elements from the olive groves surrounding Picasso's serene Marrakech home, each stone is hand cut and set to maximise its beauty. The result? Visually striking jewels that become the benchmark for stylish sophistication.

The collection is wonderfully fluid, moving with a grace that's reminiscent of leaves lifted in gentle breeze or flowers dancing under the sun.

One of fine jewellery's most iconic stars, Picasso's flair for refined details and luxury designs is simply unparalleled.
