Hi, my wife and myself have been on a couple of "Gourmet Tours" and had a fabulous time on both.
The first in 2005 was a "Gourmet Safari of Greece" the second was just a month ago "A Taste of South America" which went to Brazil and Argentina.
Both trips including market shopping and tours, cooking classes, cultural tours, great food and wine and some other experiences you would never have travelling on your own. Both trips have been life changing for us.
We were wondering if there are any of you that have been on similar trips that you would recommend?

Epicurious travel based in Melb. has THE most wonderful tours visiting Spain, Italy, Australian Outback. Jennifer Wilson is a magnificent 'cook' (more like chef) & really knows her wines...I spent a month in Tuscany on one of her tours & have never had such wonderful food & wines...awesome experience & worth looking at.

All of it! So many wonderful restaurants & sights, she is a joy to behold. Henry Jones in Hobart is central to the city & a fine boutique hotel, but if a budget is in play, there are great self contained units close to Salamanca Square. Both Hobart & Launceston have some of the best eateries in Australia so get intouch with the Tasmanian Tourist Bureau & ask for their 'fine foods & wine' booklets. All around Tassie there are excellent B&Bs as well.

Hi, new to the forum. Has anyone done a gourmet tour to Hong Kong and/or China that they might recommend?

Hi, I've created a directory of small group tours, including lots of gourmet tour options at http://www.holidaystoeurope.com.au/home/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=74&Itemid=173 There are lots of options in Italy and France and you book direct with the owners, who in most instances are Australians.
