I really enjoy making macarons but I've a hard time finding recipes that would use original fillings. I found this French site that has the most original ideas for fillings: http://www.histoiresucree.com/recipes/macarons_violettes.html and also http://www.histoiresucree.com/recipes/macarons_marrons_glaces.html

Charlotte39, thanks for sharing this site. Thanks to you, I've finally found an online shop that ships French marrons glaces to Australia: http://www.histoiresucree.com/meta_categories/saveurs_fruitees.html
