Hi, I need help from a Gourmet traveller reader that still has magazines from 2000!! It may be the feb 2000 issue, but I do know it is an early 2000 edition with a stone fruit recipe section in it. I am pretty sure it is called "nectarine buttermilk cake" it is a beautiful, luscious cake and unfortunately I threw out the old mag while I was shifting last year :( Can anyone help me????

I have just looked through the December 2000 issue of AGT with the annual recipe index and there is a lemon buttermilk cake in the September 2000 issue. Is this what you are looking for?

No, unfortunately it's not, it was def in a early 2000 or may be late 1999, cos I first made in while I was doing vintage in the barossa in 2000 :)

You are welcome. Sorry about the bad grammar and lack of instructions; if you need them, let me know. I was in a big rush but knew it was the one you wanted. I love this recipe.

No need for the instructions, I have made it dozens of time, the amazing thing is that I couldn't remember the ingredients considering how many times I have made it. I have cooked it in a Microwave as well with no alterations, works perfectly. Thanks again I have been searching for it ever since I thru the mag out last year :D
