With the arrival of Ôter in Melbourne, a curly restaurant name replete with a circumflex designed to strike fear into even the most cavalier of pretend French speakers, hot on the heels of other recent head-scratchers such as Automata and Lûmé, we thought now was a good time to take a moment and go over just how these places are really supposed to be pronounced.
