The hunt for Pokémon will take a backseat today as Uber launches its food-delivery service app UberEATS in Sydney.

Collaborating with over 100 Sydney restaurants, dishes will be available from the menus of Three Blue Ducks, Fratelli Fresh, Butter, Thievery, Sake and more.

Sydney is the second Australian city to access the app, following a successful launch in Melbourne earlier this year.

Focusing on delivering customer-selected options only, the Australian UberEATS app will opt out of the ‘instant delivery option’ available in its American counterpart, which delivers pre-chosen dishes available within as little as 10 minutes.

Operating extended hours from 11am – 10pm, seven days a week, the app will satisfy all hunger pangs from late nights in the office, to the ultimate stay at home feast.

Swift delivery will be available for Sydney’s inner suburbs, ranging from Bondi to Surry Hills and Pyrmont to Newtown. UberEATS is also offering free delivery for a limited time only.
