Sloe Berries in Australia

Good morning
I'd love to make my own sloe gin as I have made it before with berries that were available when I was in the UK.
Does anyone know where I can get them in Australia?

Hi Alex,
You can find sloe berries in Tassie - specifically around the older settlements in northern Tasmania. Unfortunately for this year you are a little late - the season starts around June. Alternatively, you can buy a sloe berry plant and grow your own - a fruit tree grower at Woodbridge in southern Tas stocks sloe berry trees - they are meant to be a weed in Australia though, so careful where you plant them!
