Sharp design with a lifestyle mindset, East is a business hotel with personality.

Feast restaurant at East
Located on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island in one of the city's busy business districts, East is a business-minded hotel that's sharp in every way. Set in an area that plays host to the likes of LVMH and Facebook's Hong Kong HQ and opened by Swire Hotels in 2010, East combines a business focus with a lifestyle touch and plenty of personality, contemporary art and technology. Though the hotel houses 345 rooms, East's six suites on the 30 floor, four with harbour views and two with an urban outlook, offer floor-to-ceiling windows, swinging egg chairs and a glittering bird's eye view on the frenetic city pace below.

We love: Speedy paper-free check-ins and Handy, the personal smartphone offered in each room. Loaded up with insightful city guide content, free international calls and also doubling as an internet hotspot to take out and about, it makes discovering the city, and getting in touch with home, easy.
Don't miss:  The rooftop pool, a calm oasis in the middle of muggy Hong Kong's forest of high-rises.

Hungry? Feast, East's bustling all-day café and restaurant offers international and local options like lobster bisque risotto, maple-cured organic Irish salmon, barbecued duck and char siu pork, beautiful cakes and great coffee.
Thirsty? Don't miss Sugar Bar on the rooftop, named for the old sugar import dock the hotel is built upon. The bar's stylish deck sits over 90 meters above sea level and offers slinky DJ tunes, cocktails and sweeping views of Victoria Harbour and Kow Loon. It's open until 1.30am on weekends.
Stepping out: Tai Koo MTR station is right next door and will zip you into the middle of Central in about 15 minutes.
