Edition Miami

He's always chasing the big new concept and with landmark projects such as Studio 54, The Sanderson London and Delano South Beach under his belt, Ian Schrager has hotel instincts that are famed for good reason. His next project is a series of 100 hotels with the Marriott group, combining Schrager's signature clean design with their impeccable service. The first Edition hotel opened in Istanbul to rave reviews, and the opening last December of Edition Miami marked the start of something big in a cramped market. "Since we invented the boutique hotel everything has become monotonously similar," says Schrager. "The key is making hotels fun. There's always room for something really unique and original."
