Vintage Cellars/Gourmet Traveller dinner: Restaurant Pendolino, Sydney

24 November 2008 to 24 November 2008

Vintage Cellars and Australian Gourmet Traveller invite you to indulge in the finest food and wine at an Aus v NZ dinner.

Vintage Cellars has selected 12 iconic Australian and New Zealand wines to partner delectable cuisine at a series of events across the country. The friendly rivalry between these two great nations is set to extend beyond the sporting field and onto the dinner table as renowned wine writer Nick Stock referees the ultimate food and wine match. Don't miss your opportunity to join us at this unique event.

Here's just a taste of some of the wines guests will enjoy at the dinners:

o Shaw + Smith Sauvignon Blanc
o Pegasus Bay Bel Canto Dry Riesling
o Kumeu River Estate Chardonnay
o Mount Difficulty Pinot Noir
o Teusner Albert Shiraz

RESTAURANT PENDOLINO
The Restaurant Pendolino in Sydney's historic Strand Arcade specialises in regionally-inspired Italian cuisine featuring some of Australia's and Italy's prestigious extra virgin olive oils. Fresh pasta, especially pappardelle, made on the premises in a dedicated pasta kitchen by chef Nino Zoccali is a highlight.
