Hendrick’s Fizz

Australian Gourmet Traveller cocktail recipe for Hendrick’s Fizz.

Hendrick’s Fizz


  • 45 ml Hendrick’s gin
  • 15 ml lime juice
  • To fill: soda water
  • To garnish: lime slices
Lime syrup
  • 200 gm caster sugar
  • Thinly peeled rind of 1 lime

    For lime syrup, combine sugar, lime rind and 200ml water in a small saucepan and bring to the simmer over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Set aside until cooled.

    Fill a highball glass with ice, add gin, lime juice and lime syrup to taste, top up with soda water and garnish with a lime slice.
