"This is by far the easiest tequila punch you will ever make. There's no such thing as a person who doesn't like tequila - if they say they don't, they've just been drinking the wrong stuff or drinking it the wrong way. Gold tequila would be great here, either Gran Centenario Reposado or Jose Cuervo Tradicional."

Ingredients

  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 orange, cut into wedges
  • 200 ml tequila
  • To fill: ginger beer

    Muddle lime and orange in a shaker to extract as much juice as possible, transfer to a 1-litre jug, add tequila and top up with ginger beer, then stir with a swizzle stick. Serve over ice.
