Summer recipes call for barbecued dishes, salads, Vietnamese rice paper rolls and winning seafood dishes. So, it’s no wonder that these make up the bulk of our most popular summer recipes.

Of course, summer Christmas recipes were in high demand – Eton mess, boiled Christmas pudding and AP Bakery’s mango and macadamia merveilleux were highly sought after, as was our recipe for a whole glazed ham and how to make porchetta. And of course, classic Christmas side dishes such as mac and cheese and golden, crisp roast potatoes.

And will the allure of baking ever abate? It seems not, especially when lemon tarts, Persian love cakes and Black Star Pastry’s ulta-famous strawberry and watermelon cake are involved.
