Seabourn announces a 138-day cruise across five continents
Seabourn has announced its 2029 World Cruise: a 138-day voyage aboard Seabourn Quest, sailing from Miami to Lisbon and calling at 58 destinations across 31 countries.
Departing January 7, 2029, the itinerary covers more than 32,000 nautical miles, crossing five continents, visiting more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage sites and taking in places as disparate as Easter Island, Bora Bora, Zanzibar and Tasmania.
There are 20 extended stays, including overnight calls in Sydney, Cape Town and Singapore, giving passengers more time to explore on land. Experiences include a two-day cultural journey through Bali and an after-hours evening at Cape Town’s Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa. Optional land programs take the itinerary further, with trips to the Galápagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru and the Taj Mahal.

One of Venice’s most iconic grand hotels is entering a new era with Four Seasons

Set to welcome its first guests on 26 August, the legendary Hotel Danieli has undergone an extensive restoration, marking one of Venice’s most celebrated addresses being brought into a new era while preserving the grandeur that has defined it for centuries.
Occupying three historic Venetian palazzi overlooking the Riva degli Schiavoni, the hotel will debut with 120 rooms and suites, the iconic Terrazza Danieli rooftop restaurant with sweeping lagoon views, and a new spa slated to open later this year. Throughout, the restoration celebrates Venetian craftsmanship at every turn, from Murano glass and Rubelli textiles to carefully preserved architectural details, reaffirming the Danieli as one of Italy’s most storied luxury stays.
Tony, the new Anthony Bourdain biopic, hits Australian cinemas this month
