You're invited: bespoke Chinese banquet at Madame Shanghai

Luxury river-cruise specialist APT and Gourmet Traveller are once again joining forces to create six unforgettable journeys in 2018. To celebrate our ongoing partnership and launch the Gourmet Traveller Tours by APT, join us for a special bespoke dinner at the new Madame Shanghai, in Sydney's Darlinghust.

For this celebratory banquet, Shanghai-born executive chef Chris Yan's menu is largely Shanghai-inspried with a focus on the charcoal grill seen in dishes such as satay chicken skewers and king praws, while regional influences appear in the likes of soft-shell crab with Singaporean chilli sauce.

Let Yan's food inspire your travel tastebuds with a varied menu including baby octopus with chilli and heirloom tomato sauce, fried cauliflower and chickpeas with a balsamic sauce, and Madame's gold-gold glazed bullion.

A bespoke Chinese Banquet with Gourmet Traveller and APT, 6:30pm for a 7pm start, 14 September 2017, Madame Shanghai, 18 College St, Darlinghurst, Sydney. $130 per person including matching wines.

Join us for this taste of China - it promises to be an inspiring evening not to be missed. Hurry, tickets selling fast. To book, call (02) 8318 8618 or email
