David Thompson rocks the woks translating the flavours of the streets of Thailand to the home kitchen. Thompson first dazzled diners with his takes on Thai cooking in a pub in his hometown of Sydney, and has gone on to win Michelin stars in London, score the top spot in Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants with his flagship eatery in Bangkok, and now Long Chim, a string of hit street-food eateries in Singapore, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne. The menu for this class is a stir-fried red curry of chicken, and prawns baked with vermicelli, but you can expect plenty of the chef’s trademark zingers and vim along the way.
