Jordan Theodoros’s cooking is all about generosity. One of South Australia’s best-regarded chefs, he cut a dash at The Melting Pot before making the humble pasty a thing of beauty at Aquacaf in Goolwa. Returning to Adelaide, he opened Peel St in 2013 to instant crowds. “Bringing you the food we eat at home” is the restaurant’s motto, speaking as much to the chef’s understated personal style as the smart, big-flavoured food that is his specialty. Learn to cook for the hordes in style with Jordan’s recipes for moreish Armenian lamb soldiers and his signature salad of banana blossom, chilli jam and chicken.
