Hot cross bun recipes for Easter

There's the classic, of course, and a few clever variations.

The classic hot cross bun never goes out of style. But if you're in the mood to switch things up a little this Easter, try our variation with sour cherry stirred through the dough mix, or an fragrant apple-cinnamon verseion. Ester's Dan Pepperell reckons the hot cross cannoli are "what Tony Soprano would eat at Easter time", while over at Bodega, they've gone savoury, filling their buns with corned beef and daikon kimchi.
