The Gourmet Traveller Christmas Boutique extends opening hours

It's been so popular we're keeping our shop open a little longer.

You better watch out, you better not cry – the Gourmet Traveller Christmas Boutique isn’t shutting up this Sunday after all. Not a chance, in fact. Our first-ever bricks-and-mortar store, in collaboration with long-time friends Sorry Thanks I Love You, has been such a success that we’re keeping the doors open until Christmas Eve – meaning you have another 10 days to settle on the perfect (GT tried and tested) gift – straight from the pages of the magazine.

If you’re looking for a winning Kris Kringle – we’ve got the likes of Australian jerky and pickles, David Thompson’s favourite hot sauce, handmade stoneware mugs and colouring-in books for adults – all under the $50 mark.

If you’ve got a little more cash to burn – there’s everything from hand-appliqued quilts and boutique spirits (say yes to the Williams pear Eau de Vie) to stunning tableware from The Fortynine Studio, Margaret Westcott, Robert Gordon, Hayden Youlley and more. Not to mention hand-forged wooden spoons, salad servers and striking linen napery to complete your Christmas spread.

“While we anticipated things would be starting to wind down as the pop-up draws to end, we’ve only seen things pick up,” says Caroline Ball of Sorry Thanks I Love You. “It’s wonderful to see such excitement and enthusiasm for Australian makers and producers. Christmas is definitely here.”

Happy shopping.
