Join us at Magma by Dany Karam on Wednesday 15 July for an exclusive Reader Dinner presented by Cabramatta’s new lifestyle precinct, Cabravale Club Resort. Opened in November 2025, Magma is Karam’s ode to the Sunday barbecues of his childhood, where his mother cooked family favourites over charcoal.
Hosted by our editor David Meagher, the evening will feature a three-course menu showcasing Australian produce and Karam’s signature fire-led cuisine, with acclaimed Wagyu producer Ben Blackmore also in attendance. Tickets are $170pp.

The menu
- On arrival: Moët Chandon Champagne, beef jerky with Blackmore wagyu flank and spices, and Sydney rock oyster with smoked bone marrow vinaigrette
- Blackmore Beef tartare with anchovy mayonnaise, confit egg yolk, shiso and crispy potato
- Blackmore wagyu flat iron (MBS9+) with MindRise Farm mushrooms, parsley and oxtail jus
- Crème brûlée with Jerusalem artichoke, beef tallow caramel and black truffle ice-cream
With your choice of Ross Hill Chardonnay or Kaesler Bogan Shiraz throughout the meal.
