Named in our top 100 Australian restaurants of 2025, Sushi Room is a theatrical Japanese restaurant in The Calile Hotel precinct interpreting indulgence with premium ingredients and beloved Japanese formats. It’s best known for its 18-20-course omakase, which is priced at $330.
At our Reader Dinner, we’ll enjoy a five-course menu of premium Japanese fare with paired wine or sake, and our editor David Meagher will host Sushi Room chef Shimpei Raikuni in an insightful conversation on hospitality, culture and Brisbane’s dining evolution.
