1.Add ingredients to a shaker or bar glass half-filled with ice. Shake hard and fast, strain into a chilled large martini glass and serve.

Bax uses Plymouth gin and Lemercier absinthe. Pomegranate molasses is available from Middle Eastern and gourmet food stores.
