What’s on the itinerary?
As what can best be described as voyages of a lifetime, Oceania Aurelia will be setting sail on two 180-day, luxury world cruises – one departing Miami in January 2028, the other Los Angeles in January 2029.

She is perfectly designed for extended global travel, so to be able to launch two world voyages, plus spectacular Grand Voyages at the same time is a true milestone for us,” says Chief Luxury Office of Oceania Cruises Jason Montague. “These incredible itineraries will pique the interests of curious travellers who want to explore the world in elegant comfort with the chance to enjoy more time ashore and experience well-loved destinations in depth.”
The first voyage will begin in Miami with a glittering christening of the vessel before whisking you away through the Panama Canal. Beyond this is where the true spirit of this voyage moves into a more languid phase of exploration. The Oceania Aurelia will sail across the Pacific to Australia, South-East Asia, Japan and India, followed by a leisurely three weeks in the Mediterranean. A transatlantic crossing completes this epic trip concluding in New York.
Each destination will offer opportunities to go beyond the port into the heart of the city or town through expertly curated small group or bespoke private onshore excursions – . across the 35 countries visited, guests will have access to more than 90 UNESCO World Heritage sites. Go deep into Sri Lankan culture in the rural village of Saraii. Here guests can make a clay pot with a local artisan before preparing and sampling Sri Lankan cuisine; or take a thrilling journey to Luxor and see the majestic Karnak and Luxor temples. Guests can choose their level of immersion at each port with a rollcall of half-or-full day tours and experiences.
The second Around the World voyage departs Los Angeles and traces a different route through the world. It will visit six continents and 39 countries, with highlights including the UNESCO World heritage site of Maccu Picchu, the remote beauty of Hanga Roa on Easter Island, searching for ‘dragons’ on Komodo, Indonesia or exploring the historic Oporto in Portugal.

Inside Oceania Aurelia: life on board a luxury world cruise ship
Aboard, the rhythm is lived-in rather than resort-like. Oceania Aurelia will host fewer than 500 guests who will be served by 400 officers and crew. The New Grand Voyages
For those not quite ready to commit to half a year at sea, two Grand Voyages offer a gentler entry point. Choose from a 78-day Nordic and Baltic sailing from New York (departing July 2028), and a 71-day South America adventure departing Miami in October 2028, which includes the Antarctic Peninsula and the majestic Machu Picchu.
