Last Thursday night, Tanquery hosted a dinner party at the Sydney Opera House to celebrate the launch of its new collaboration with meal kit delivery service Marley Spoon.
Hosted by Matt Preston, alongside Tim Phillips of Bulletin Place and Saskia Havekes of Grandiflora, the dinner took place in the Yallamundi Room. Guests sipped Tanqueray cocktails while enjoying the harbour backdrop, before sitting down to a three-course meal.
“I’m thrilled to host this exceptional evening of great food and Tanqueray cocktails in the spectacular setting of the Sydney Opera House. There’s no better place to be inspired to take your at home entertaining to the next level than at Sydney’s ultimate dinner party event,” Preston said.
The partnership will see the creation of a Tanqueray X Marley Spoon ‘Ultimate Dinner Party Box’ which contains locally sourced, pre-portioned ingredients to create the ultimate evening for family and friends with zero food waste.
The box will be released in two variations: French and Korean. On Thursday, guests were treated to a preview of the Korean box. The menu included bao buns with Brussel sprouts, peanuts and kewpie; gochujang eye fillet; and spiced dark chocolate and walnut torte.
Now available for pre-ordering, each box comes with an option to upgrade with a bottle of Tanqueray Nº TEN, a small batch gin crafted using fresh citrus fruits. Head to Marley Spoon for pricing and menu options.
